Futurama Season 13 put the core Planet Express crew through a chaotic series of misadventures. Bender abused “D-roids” to grow into a city-destroying Kaiju, while the gang tackled contemporary issues like climate change miscalculations and screen addiction when the kids were sent to a “10G digital detox” nature camp.
Relationship drama remained a key focal point, with Fry and Leela navigating soulmate anxieties and dating app madness, while Dr. Zoidberg briefly moved in with Leela’s parents after losing his home.
The season peaked in its high-concept sci-fi finale, “The White Hole.” When a cosmic anomaly promised a front-row seat to the birth of a new universe, Professor Farnsworth placed the crew in cryogenic storage for a 10-million-year journey.
To handle mid-flight maintenance, the ship continuously created short-lived 3D-bioprinted clones. After millions of years of disposable existence, the clones mutinied, barring the original crew from witnessing the cosmic miracle before sending them safely back to Earth.
